A Citizen Professional Education Model

The ESRIM (École Supérieure des Réseaux Informatiques et de Management) has progressively developed an original pedagogical framework designed to address the evolving challenges of higher education in a rapidly transforming world.

This framework, referred to as the ESRIM Pedagogical DNA, seeks to move beyond the traditional academic diploma toward the development of a broader intellectual, professional, and civic formation.

The ESRIM approach is grounded in the conviction that higher education institutions must prepare students not only to obtain qualifications, but also to become responsible professionals capable of contributing to social, economic, and technological transformation.

The ESRIM pedagogical model integrates several key dimensions:
• academic excellence,
• professional integration,
• intellectual development,
• civic responsibility,
• adaptability to technological change.

This model is structured around the SCPP framework (Citizen System of Pedagogy and Professionalization), which organizes the student experience through several integrated mechanisms:
• Progressive Professionalization Pathway (IPP),
• Professional Passport (PP),
• Internship and Academic Integration Unit (CSIA),
• Institutional Impact Indicator (IRI).

Together, these components ensure a longitudinal educational trajectory, supporting students from their entry into higher education through to their professional integration.

The ESRIM Pedagogical DNA is progressively documented through a series of publications entitled:
Citizen Pedagogical DNA – Models & Engineering,
which explore the conceptual, pedagogical, and institutional foundations of the ESRIM educational model.

Through this initiative, ESRIM aims to contribute to international reflections on the transformation of higher education and to promote innovative educational approaches aligned with the needs of contemporary societies.
